Honestly, I think the softer bit collides too harshly with the opening tune. This song would benefit greatly if you found a way to better bridge those two segments. For instance, the melody you have that kicks up later is slightly better intertwined with that specific segment.

Other than that, it's a decent background tune.

The melody gets a bit too repetitive for me throughout most of the song. I would recommend that for the next one, you let the structure go a little bit more, and let the melody grow by itself a little.

An interesting song, to say the least. The opening reminded me heavily of C418's song 'Moog City'.

I kinda wish there was more to the song, though. It feels like it ought to have developed more than it did.

SineRider responds:

I'm definitely going to expand it I just need to figure out where to go next. I think the drums indicate some motion, but listening again, I don't like how they sound

This is what I get for not being more vigilant with the Audio Portal these days. Missing absolute gems like these.

This song is pure and unfiltered perfection. A testament of how Ambient music can send shivers through the soul and broaden the vistas of the mind. It is literally Roach-worthy.

You, Aozora, have captured my attention quicker than any other artist on this site, and I doubt it will wane any time soon.

Very mesmerizing!

Definitely a prime example of pure ambient music. You have quite a way with your soft 'instruments' in this piece. I'll be sure to check out more of your stuff!

You know, whenever I discover a song in the Ambient section that is actually Ambient, I must stop to enjoy it.

This song is very luscious and calming. It would make a very good background to a Knytt Stories level.

SunStarsMoon responds:

They should leave the "genre" option free for us to write what we want. The list of genres is very limited and when something doesn't fit with "rock", "pop", "rnb" or "classical", it often ends in the ambient section.. Ambient is very large and vague though :)
Thanks for the review! I'll check the Knytt Stories, I think I played a game from their creator(s) (NightSky).

Personally I think it's a little too loud and bombastic to be thinking music. Perhaps if you toned it down a bit.

skipspace responds:

I can understand that completely, thanks for your opinion on it!

A lovely song, to be sure.

I can definitely imagine what you describe here. I particularly like the way this song begins and ends.

skipspace responds:

Thank you! I thought that just a simple fade in and out with something simple fit nicely with this.
