I thought that was quite nice, yes, quite nice indeed.

In a way, it reminded me of a much calmer version of Yellow Calx. I will definitely have to check out more of your stuff.

spikel responds:

thank you!

Classical, huh? Rhythms of the Nutcracker Suite were going through my head when I saw that title and genre, so I certainly wasn't expecting a song like this.

The pads you have going in the background are the best sort, the sort that are unobtrusive and genuinely add to the song. I'm definitely getting vibes of C418 off of this song, and for that you should feel proud.

VideoGameManiac responds:

Haha thanks! Well Im always having troubles defining the genre of my own music and since newgrounds doesnt have alot of choices, classical looked most appealing x). Anyway, Im glad you enjoyed it! I still have no idea what genre this is.

It definitely keeps the sombre mood going through the whole song.

In a way, it kind of reminds me of my old song, Contrition, in the sense that it feels very regretful. I would definitely rate this above that old song, however.

Well, that was an earful. I think I got your point, mister!

Joking aside, I think this would work well in the background of some grimy desert movie. I definitely wouldn't be the one to make it, but that's just me.

I notice that your song has no votes yet. I will give it whatever star rating you think it deserves.

MikeeUSA responds:

Thank's for taking a listen.

Given that my newest releases snugly sandwich this song, I feel as though I owe it a review.

It definitely conveys the mood I think you were going for. I find the instruments to be a bit grating at times, however. Perhaps if they had their edges taken off, this would work a little nicer. Just my opinion though.

Keep makin' stuff!

LetThereBeLenny responds:

Cool man, thanks for diggin it, but yea work in progress

This is a neat soundscape. You should definitely make more songs in this style! I just wish it were a bit longer.

On a side note, I notice your song has no votes yet. I'll give it however many stars you think it deserves.

Strangely enough, this song reminds me of the Song of Healing...

Sounding good! Is that the new mic you got there?

SailorSilverStar responds:

Indeed it is!!! ^_^
I'm sorry I didnt have it in time for your project. T_T
But we got it now!! ON TO THE NEXT ONE!!!! ^_^ lol

Listening to this song, I get the impression that I've heard it before.

Unfortunately, the reason is because I've heard too many songs that sound almost exactly like this one. While there's nothing technically wrong with the song, it doesn't speak anything new to me.

Keep working on your style, and you'll hit one out of the park! You already have the tools you need to do so.

bolisa responds:

Thanks! I'll do that.

This song is... interesting, to say the least.

At first it plays out like a usual song of its genre, then close to the end, it starts to melt, and create all sorts of interesting soundscapes as a result.

Hrmmm... Maybe I could use this for something.

OPFX responds:

Definitely would appreciate if you did use this song.
